2 workers save goose frozen to the ground

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)– Two Bridgeport workers rescued a goose who was found in distress and frozen to the ground on Friday.

News 8 received a Report It of a goose that was rescued by two Seven Trent employees in Bridgeport. According to the Report It, Ljubo Hribar and Lou Ferron noticed a Canadian goose in distress in the back of a property. As the rest of the flock took flight, the goose appeared to be more and more upset and struggling, as it was stuck to the frozen ground.

The two water treatment employees then gently poured warm water around the goose. They were able to clam the goose down and free the bird from the frozen ground.

The goose was able to join back with its flock.
