Madison looking to ban smoking at parks, beaches

MADISON, Conn. (WTNH)– In Madison, the Beach and Recreation commission is looking into banning smoking at public parks and beach areas.

It’s all in hopes of helping to create a healthier community

According to the New Haven Register, if the idea is approved it goes into effect immediately.

A public hearing will be held on the issue at the Board of Selectman’s meeting on March 23rd at 7 p.m.
