(WTNH)– Dancers Kelsey Latham, Colin Dyson and Tara Kuhl perform an Irish step dance.
The Griffith Celtic Dance Company is comprised of champion dancers from the Griffith Academy in Wethersfield. The Academy now in its 61st year has trained many dancers who have gone on to perform in “Riverdance”, “Lord of the Dance”, and on Broadway. The current Company, while maintaining a rigorous competitive schedule, has performed all over New England – both in person and on television. They enjoy the opportunity to perform and communicate their own love for this ancient dance form. The
Griffith Celtic Dance Company will be performing at the Fox Theater at Foxwoods on Tuesday, March 17 at 7pm. The performance, which is free to the public, begins at 7pm and is open to all ages. It is a great way to spend St. Patrick’s Day with friends and family – enjoying both traditional and contemporary Irish music and dance. For more, go to http://www.Griffithacademy.com.
