Watertown police issue warrants, make arrest in bar fight

WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) – Watertown police have arrested one person, and are looking for at least three others in connection with a bar fight over the weekend.  Three people were hut in a fight at the Red Door Bar.  Police say one man was stabbed and another was hit with a beer bottle.

On Monday, Watertown police issued four arrest warrants in the case.

  • Jamar “Styles” Smith, 30, Waterbury
  • Franklin “Frankie” Damon Jr., 33
  • Frederick “Freddie” Bonds, 27, Waterbury
  • Kelly Hernandez, 31, Waterbury

Police say they came up with the suspects through their investigation and physical evidence recovered at the scene.  At 7:30 Wednesday morning Waterbury Police and the US Marshals Service found Damon in a car on Angel Drive in Waterbury.  Police say he hit someone in the head with a glass beer bottle during the fight.

Police are still looking for the others, and police say more warrants could be coming.
