Connecticut Florists Association has new permanent home

CHESHIRE, Conn. (WTNH) — After spending more than a decade on the move the Connecticut Florists Association finally has a permanent home.

If you want to get into floral industry, or are looking to upgrade your job skills in design, we’ve got back on how you can get a job in the floral business. The most industry savvy and creative minds in Cheshire are ready to show you how to make creative arrangements.

“It’s going to bring jobs to Cheshire and visitors to Connecticut… pretty exciting adventure for us,” said Sylvia Nichols, Director of the Northeast Floral Education Center.

The center will offer hands-on training for flower lovers, and you don’t have to be in the industry to participate. The program is located at 312 East Johnson Avenue.
