Man shot, killed in Hartford’s 5th homicide of the year


HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating the fifth homicide of the year after a man was shot and killed in the capitol city Thursday night.

According to police, a person was shot at the intersection of Blue Hills Avenue and Burnham Street. It happened just before 10 pm.

Police have identified the victim as Teniel Mack, 31, of Hartford. Mack was also the target of a stabbing last week in Hartford, according to officials.

Investigators have not made any arrests at this time.
