MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in Meriden are trying to track down the man who held up a CVS Pharmacy. It happened on March 12, just before 1 p.m.  Police say the man walked in to the CVS at 839 East Main Street, and walked up to a register with something he was pretending to buy.  When he got to the clerk he demanded all the money in the register, and put his hand under his jacket like he had a gun.  No gun was shown.  The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He’s described as a white male in his 20’s with a thin beard.  Police say he is between 5’7″ and 6′, and was wearing very baggy clothes.  If you know who he is or have a tip, contact Detective Williams at jwilliams@meridenct.gov.
