(WTNH) – With the start of Spring comes the start of allergy season. Even though it doesn’t feel very Spring-like outside, experts say people are starting to experience some seasonal allergies.

They say the best thing you can do for yourself is to start treating your allergies early.

The common symptoms of allergies are itchy red eyes, sneezing and a stuffy nose. If you take your allergy medications before you start showing the symptoms, health officials say you will be better protected.

Experts also recommend washing your clothes and vacuuming often to help cut back on pollen and mold. Turning on your air conditioner also to filter the air – though that’s likely the last thing you’ll want to do on these cold Spring days!
