College fair kicks off for New Haven high schools

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– If your kids attend New Haven’s public high schools, they’re getting a chance to learn more about future education opportunities.

Today a special college fair kicks off in the elm city. 11th graders around the district will be able to get a real feel about what college is all about.

And school officials are making sure every school takes part. Between Monday and Tuesday, the fair will bump around between all five high schools. The smaller schools will be bused to the bigger ones so kids can participate.

Today the fair will be at James Hillhouse, Metropolitan Business Academy, and Cooperative Arts and Humanities.

And then tonight parents can attend a workshop at Columbus Academy.
