BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)– Members of the Bridgeport police department have voted overwhelmingly in favor of a new four year contract with the city.

The deal features ‘wages’, concessions and it gives the chief more power.

After casting his ballot at city hall, one officer summed up the situation by saying the deal on the table was the ‘best’ the rank and file was going to get.
