High school play to have special equiptment for visual and audio impaired students

New Haven, Conn. (WTNH)- Saturday night’s performance of Fiddler on the Roof at Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven will be unique, because special equipment will be used so students who are visually or audio impaired can enjoy the performance.

It all began as a graduation present for Cross senior Brianna Rigsbee, who is visually impaired, from Sandra Malmquist, who was Brianna’s child-care provider years ago and remains close to her to this day.

News 8’s Keith Kountz will have a full report on the performance and what it took to make it a reality this Sunday morning on Keith’s Corner on News 8.
