In the Kitchen: Chicken Goulash w/ Buttered Bow Ties

(WTNH)– 13-year-old chef Lauren Zilberman and KidsRFoodies2 food critic Sadie Rae show us how to make chicken goulash with buttered bow ties.

Lauren was a kidtestant on Season 2 of Rachael vs Guy Kids Cook-Off which aired in July/September of 2014.

The ingredients are below. Watch the video to find out how to make this delicious meal.

• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
• 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 1 1/2 pounds), chopped
• Salt and pepper
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 1 carrot, peeled and grated
• 1 rib celery, finely chopped
• 3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 1 large bay leaf
• 3 tablespoons paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
• 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
• 2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
• 1 pound farfalle (bowtie pasta)
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 3 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
• 3 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• About 1/3 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Cilantro
