Danbury, Conn. (WTNH) – The police department in Danbury has been tackling prostitution in the city. They set up a sting operation to catch people suspected of selling sex for money. It happened in the four block area of Elm Street, Beaver Street, Spring Street and Stevens Street. Memberse of the Community Conditions Unit and the Special Investigation Division went undercover. During the operation they arrested four women ranging in age from 29-years-old to 50-years-old, who they say offered sex for money.
The Danbury Police Department charged three of the women with Prostitution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Those three women are:
33-year-old Patricia Gibson
23-year-old Paige Kummerer
29-year-old Jodi Davenport
One woman, 50-year-old Donna Walker, was only charged with prostitution.
All three women had bond set at $500.
