Ledyard store robbed

LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) – Police are looking for the person who held up a Ledyard convenience store on Monday.

State Police say a man robbed the Henny Penny at 1673 Route 12 in the Gales Ferry section of town at approximately 8:30 p.m. The man fled on foot. Police are not saying what he stole from the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’7″ to 5’11” tall. He was wearing a dark color sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans, dark gloves with yellow trim, a green knit hat, work boots and a scarf.
