NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating the untimely death of a two-month-old baby in New Britain Thursday.
According to police, the baby’s parents called 911 just before 11 am, reporting that their child was short of breath.
Police arrived at 42 Connerton Street to find the baby dead inside the home.
Officials are calling this an untimely death. They are waiting for autopsy results from the Chief Medical Examiners Office to release details on the cause of death.
Authorities have not stated whether or not there is anything criminal surrounding the baby’s death.
News 8 spoke with neighbors who mentioned past domestics issues at that specific home. New Britain police tell News 8 that they are looking into everything while they conduct the investigation.
