(WTNH) — For many, the week started with a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Trevor, Mason and Jenna showed up at the same spot as Riley to meet the big bunny, while Keyleigh tried to make her little dog Cody look like one.
And Cody wasn’t the only dog or cat to get in the holiday spirit. Conor met the easter bunny for the first time while, Tessa rang in her first birthday on Easter.
Kids all over the state spent time dying eggs, including News 8’s Brian Spyros’ nephew Dalton. If you weren’t painting, you were eating a delicious holiday meal.
This week also meant the start of baseball season! So doesn’t this mean spring weather should finally arrive?
It seems we’re all searching for a sign of spring. You saw flowers and spring, and a beach not quite ready for sunbathing.
Even the animals are ready for spring! An egret was spotted in guilford while seagulls flocked the beach in Bridgeport and a fox enjoyed a bite to eat in Brookfield.
But as these Peeps and windshields show, we have a ways to go.
In the meantime we have movies and books to entertain us, and inspire our wardrobes. We also have a winning Husky team to cheer on, and music to play.
