Man stabbed outside Plainfield’s “Music Lady Cafe”

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)–Police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed outside of the Music Lady Cafe in Plainfield early Saturday morning.

The victim, a 43-year old man from Versailles, reported that he was stabbed in the parking lot as he was leaving the cafe, which is on Green Hollow Road in Central Village, at around 2 a.m.

During the altercation, the man was stabbed in the abdomen and suffered a laceration to his face. He was taken to Norwich Backus Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries, which are said to be non-life threatening.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, between 21 and 28 years old, standing approximately 5-6. He was described as tall, with a skinny build, as having black hair and a goatee, and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.

It is unknown if the suspect fled on foot or in the vehicle.
