2 critical after fire at Ridgefield condo fire

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two people are in critical condition after being injured in a fire at a Ridgefield condo Thursday evening, fire officials say.

According to the fire department, the fire at 15 Cook Close started around 6:50 p.m. and was contained to a single unit. With help from Danbury and Wilton, they say the blaze was under control around 7:35 p.m.

Officials say two people were taken to Danbury Hospital, then moved to Bridgeport Hospital. Their identities have not been released.

The fire marshal is still investigating the cause of the fire.
