#MarenMemories honors slain Milford teen

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — People in one part of Connecticut are going to Twitter to remember a girl taken too soon.

Saturday marks one year since Maren Sanchez was stabbed to death at Jonathan Law High School. Hundreds of people are using the hashtag #MarenMemories to share warm thoughts about the teen.

On Saturday, the Maren Sanchez Memorial Scholarship Fund will host a community day to celebrate her life. There’ll be art, food, music, and more. Head over to Jonathan Law High School between 10 a-m and 5 p-m to join in.
