(WTNH) — The past week has brought some major changes. Changes full of optimism, full of spring.
Even though we haven’t reached the dog days of summer…we still had some great spring weather, and saw some cute puppy pictures sent into report it. We asked you to show Anchor Dog Nell your dog photos, and you did just that.
From Bo and Cara at the beach in West Haven, to Bing the retriever, to Moe, Bella, Ozzy, and Olive, all the dogs were having fun this past week.
Forecast and Jenny took a dip in Long Island Sound,Bandit went on a hike, and some took the term “love birds” in a very literal sense.
Even the indoor cats had fun soaking in the sun, and doing what cats do best.
Humans got out too, and got dressed up for spring. Max made it to the CT Expo, Zane Thomas went to lyman orchards for a spring apple hunt, and Austin and Tyler enjoyed the first 80 degree day of the season.
Fishing season is in full swing now, and so were the MS walks across the state. Darren was at one, and so was Teresa…can you spot her and her husband Brandon in this picture? Samantha spotted me in Milford, and Bradley got the start of the Boston Marathon.
Rain came, and so did the rainbow shots…from Naugatuck to prospect and across to Waterbury, rain and thunder woke many people up this past week. But the early risers got some great shots this week, like this one from Robert in Branford, and this one in Milford from Anne.
Some of you went for a hike, Stanley and Joy enjoyed the sun at East Rock Park on Sunday, and Stevie posed with Joe Torre at Southern. Speaking of baseball, North Branford had their opening day last week for little league, we saw these two posing for the nice weather, and this girls volleyball team posing with New Haven Mayor Toni Harp.
We also want to say good luck to the Hamden Spirit cheerleading team for going to the world championship in Orlando, and a big happy birthday to Peyton Rae who turned one year old this past week.
