Police investigate murder of Bridgeport man

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a 22-year-old Bridgeport man Saturday night.

Police say Juvontee Tinsley was shot in the chest around 9 p.m., after walking over to speak with someone in a car parked at 26 Ohio Avenue.

The car then fled east on Ohio Avenue before driving through a yard at the dead end. The suspect’s car was last seen traveling south on East Main Street.

Tinsley was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died of his injuries. Police say Tinsley is suspected of firing shots at the house on 69 Velvet Street a few hours before he was killed.
