Palindrome dates make for a balanced week

(WTNH)– Here’s something that may make your week a little more exciting. Every date this week happens to be the same backwards, or a palindrome.

From May 10th to May 19th, when the dates are written numerically, it is a palindrome. The definition of a palindrome is “a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backward as forward.”

Some examples of words that are palindromes are stressed/ desserts, stop/pots or the phrase “Madam, I’m Adam.”

In this case with the dates, you can read the numbers forward and backward and the date will always be balanced.

For those of you who don’t want this palindrome excitement to end, don’t worry, it’ll happen again June 10th or 6/10/16.
