Shooting Investigation

Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) – Officers in Hartford say there were on patrol in the area of Sunset Cafe on Main Street, when they heard a bunch of gunshots coming from the rear of a nearby building.

When they arrived, they saw lots of people running away and driving away from the scene.  Once they were able to secure the area, they found 29 shell casings and 3 different caliber guns.  A house, the back of 3281 Main Street and four vehicles were damaged from gunfire.

News 8 is told that one victim walked into a nearby hospital with a-non-life threatening head wound, but they did not disclose if that wound was from a bullet.

Right now Major Crimes is scouring the scene for more evidence.
