Bristol, Conn. (WTNH) – Three people are facing charges after cops say they stole a dirt bike style motorcycle from a 20-year-old man. Police say it happened in the area of Jacobs and Muzzy Street. The victim tells cops he was riding his bike in Rockewell Park when he started having mechanical problems. So he decided to push his bike home to Bridley Street. As he was pushign his bike, the victim says he was approached by three males, two of which were juveniles.
The victim tells cops that one of the kids punched him in the face and the other two stole his dirt bike and helmet and ran off. Responding officers found one of the juveniles near the area of Tulip Street and Barnes Street. A little while later, cops found the other two around Barnes Street. Police also were able to recover the dirt bike and helmet.
The adult suspect, 22 year old, Trevon Clay, of New Britain, Ct., was arrested and charged with Robbery in The Second Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in The Second Degree, Larceny in the Third Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in The Third Degree. He is currently being held on a $10,000 security bond for appearance in Bristol Superior Court on Monday, the 18th of May. The two juveniles were referred to Juvenile Court on similar charges and released in the custody of their parents.
The victim suffered a contusion to his nose and was taken to Bristol Hospital. He was treated and released.
