ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — An Enfield woman is looking for the owner of a pit bull found starving and dangerously thin.

The dog, found monday morning, is so thin you can see her bones.

“I can’t imagine who would do anything like this but if anyone has recognizes her or has any info, please message me,” Meghan Beach wrote on Facebook. “She is sweet as can be…no aggression whatsoever, even when we picked her up and she was in pain. My heart breaks for her.”

The dog was taken to the vet and is now at the Enfield pound. She will stay at the pound for the next week, then will be put up for adoption.
