Suffield crash involving school bus sends 1 to hospital

SUFFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A school bus carrying no students and a mail truck crashed in the area of Mountain Road in Suffield Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the unidentified driver of the mail truck was taken to the hospital. They say that person only showed signs of minor injuries and will be okay.

The bus driver was not injured, according to officials.

Police say the bus driver was trying to go around the mail truck, which was parked, but misjudged the space, hitting the truck and a pole.
