Nell’s Pic of the Week 5-22-15

Anchor Dog Nell (WTNH)

(WTNH) – This week I had lots of interesting pics sent in to me, including some pet chickens! I didn’t even know people had chickens as pets (see a 9-year-old pooch like me can still learn a lot!).

While I didn’t pick the chickens, I did mix it up this week. Take a look at my third pick:

This is Digger checking out another digger! He’s thinking ‘I could do some digging with this baby!’ I bet you both could do some damage! Digger lives in Guilford.

Coming in at #2 is Lola. How cute is she sunbathing on her deck?! I found this pic very funny! I like to soak up the sun too!

My top pic this week is a bit different. My fellow Good Morning Connecticut team member Gil Simmons has been urging me to consider cats. And this week I listened! How could I not with a photo like this:

Even Nell couldn't say no to cats these cats, Rocky and Sophie (WTNH / Report-It / Cindy Lynch)

That’s Rocky and Sophie in Monroe. They beat their owners to the dinner table! Their owners must have been cooking something yummy!

Please keep your photos coming each week – I really love them all. In fact, I get so many great ones that my TV station has created a page just for all of your photos! Click here to find your mug on the page!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend and send me pics of what you’re up to this weekend (along with a description)! It will be fun to see what my fellow Connecticut pooches (and cats…and chickens!) are up to!

Email your pics to Reportit@wtnh.com and write ‘Nell’s Pic of the Week‘ in the subject line!

I’m taking the holiday off, so I’ll see you on Tuesday next week on Good Morning Connecticut!
