CCSU student investigated for sending inappropriate texts to elementary school student

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Central Connecticut State University student is being investigated for allegedly sending inappropriate texts to a New Britain elementary school student.

Police say a parent from Vance Village Elementary School filed a complaint after the college student observed a class at the school on May 13. According to New Britain Police Chief James Wardwell, there have been no reports to police or allegations that these texts contain lewdness or sexual abuse.

Investigators say they are looking into a phone at a lab.
