LifeStar flies 1 to hospital after Chester scooter accident

CHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — One person was airlifted to the hospital after a crash involving a scooter in Chester around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to state police.

Officials say the patient, whose identity has not been released, was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital following the accident that closed Route 154 between Grote and Old Depot Roads. The extent of the victim’s injuries and his or her condition are not known.

The crash was cleared and Route 154 reopened by 8:15 p.m.
