Here are some other topics that are brewing:
Out of the Box Wedding
Gamers will appreciate this Pennsylvania couple for tying the knot with a video game themed wedding. Robert Piazza and Christa Slayton walked down the aisle at a Game Stop Sunday dressed as characters from “The Legend of Zelda” — Piazza as ‘Link’ and his bride as ‘Princess Zelda’.
The couple met at the Game Stop store during a Mario Kart tournament. Then, in October of last year, Piazza proposed. The gaming theme continued at the reception where guests competed in a Super Smash Brothers tournament
Emotional Moment for Bride and Groom
A United States marine’s emotional moment with his future bride was caught on camera. Corporal Caleb Earwood is shown holding his bride’s hand around a door frame. Earwood wanted to pray for their marriage together before the ceremony.
But he didn’t want to jinx things by seeing his bride Maggie before she walked down the aisle. So the two decided to take a moment together with a doorway between them to block the view. Caleb and Maggie said their “I do’s” in Asheville, North Carolina.
The photographer says he felt lucky to be at the right place and capture the moving moment.
The Most Valuable Brand
Out of the big brands like McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Google and Apple, which is the most valuable?
Apple has surpassed google to become the most valuable brand in the world. That’s according to the annual ranking of published by research company Brandz. Its brand is now valued at $247 billion. But the brand value of Google, at number two, is nothing to sneeze at.
It’s up nine percent, to reach $174 billion.
Text Message Crashes iPhones
One text message can crash anyone’s iPhone and this is happening in Connecticut. A lot of teens are sending it to their friends.
Here’s how it works: the text message contains specific Latin and Arabic characters. Once it’s sent, the receiving iPhone crashes. It will come back on by itself in about 15 seconds, but users say it disables iMessage until you delete the conversation. Experts say the glitch could be caused by an error in how iPhones display incoming messages.
The glitch was discovered by users of the forum website Reddit. Apple says it is working on a fix.
