Hartford Police Arrest 3 on Narcotics Charges

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Three Connecticut men are facing drug and weapons charges after police executed a search warrant on Wednesday.

Police had obtained information that suspects at 100 Francis Avenue in Hartford were conducting illegal drug sales and were in possession of firearms as well.

Items that the police found at the location included 1 loaded handgun and a large amount of narcotics, packaging material, U.S. Currency and a large amount of live ammunition.

The three individuals from 100 Francis Avenue were placed under arrest for firearm and narcotics charges. James Castaneda, 26, of Hartford was arrested on charges of possessing narcotics and other controlled substances, Henry Dejesus-Morales, 27, of Hartford was arrested on charges of possessing a firearm and narcotics, and Eddie Crespo, 24, of West Hartford was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics.

In the arrest, police recovered a 9mm Handgun, over 1100 bags of Heroin, 13 grams of crack cocaine, ammunition and $4000 in cash. As of now, bail amounts and court dates for the suspects have yet to be released.
