Pedestrians struck, pinned under guardrail on I-95 in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Two pedestrians walking on the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge on I-95 in New Haven were struck and pinned under a guardrail Thursday night, according to New Haven fire officials.

According to authorities, both people were conscious but pinned when fire crews arrived.

They say both people have since been freed.

Both people were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions have not yet been released.
