Suspect pulls knife in Milford home invasion

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — An intruder pulled a knife on a Milford resident after the victim awoke during the night and found the suspect in their home, police say.

According to authorities, officers were called to a Calf Pen Lane home around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. They say the suspect broke into the home from the rear and started going through items. That’s when a resident awoke and attempted to restrain the suspect, who then brandished a knife and fled.

Officials describe the suspect as a 20- to 30-year-old white man, approximately 5’6″ tall. They say he has a thin build.

Police remind you to lock your doors and windows, and use any home security features your home has.
