1 arrested for DUI at sobriety checkpoint in Clinton

CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) – One person arrested for DUI in a sobriety checkpoint in Clinton over the weekend on Central Avenue.

One person was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drug or both. This person was released on bond. Four other people were issued summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. They were all will appear in Middletown Superior Court on June nineteenth.

Five people were issued citations for operating vehicle without a license. Two juveniles were arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor 30-39 and one person was arrested for possession of less than a half an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
