Branford’s Charles Santarpia put down cigarettes, picked up photo realistic painting

(WTNH)–He put down the cigarettes and picked up the paint brush. The rest is history.

Branford’s Charles Santarpia graduated with an economics degree from Quinnipiac University, and he is also a musician. The arts are his love. He’s a self-taught photo realist painter, and for the last 10 years, that has been his passion.

Santarpia channeled a prominent American realist painter as he got started. Hear more about his journey, on this edition of “Nyberg.”
