Police investigate shooting outside Norwalk nightclub

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating a shooting outside a nightclub in Norwalk early Sunday morning.

According to officials, a 35-year-old man is recovering at Norwalk Hospital after being shot behind the La Torche nightclub on Washington Street. It happened just after 1:30 am.

An officer was patrolling the Webster Street parking lot when they noticed a commotion behind the nightclub. Multiple gunshots were fired shortly after, police said.

Police responded with additional officers to secure the area. They found the man who was shot suffering from a non-life threatening injury.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about this shooting, to please contact the Norwalk Police Department.
