NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH)– Police have identified the seventh set of remains found behind a New Britain shopping plaza.
State police report that The Connecticut State Forensic Lab and the Officer of the Chief Medical Examiner have identified Marilyn Gonzalez of Waterbury as the seventh victim who was found in the wooded area in the rear of 593 Hartford Road in New Britain.
The six other victims found on that same site have been identified as:
- Diane Cusack
- Joyvaline Martinez
- Mary Jane Menard
- Melanie Ruth Camilini
- Danny Lee Whistnant
- Nilsa Arizmendi
Police believe 45-year-old William Devin Howell is the man responsible for the deaths of all seven people. He has been incarcerated since May 2005 when he was arrested and charged in Arizmendi’s death.
