Severe Weather Today

SPC has issued a tornado watch to our North and West. A line of thunderstorms associated with a cold front will be moving towards our region this evening. The line of storms is forecast to weaken as it comes closer to Connecticut, but our friends to our north and west will certainly be in the area that will most likely get severe weather today. What can we expect? This line of storms will take its time getting here, and when it does, it will be at most a dying line of thunderstorms. They won’t be here until after 8 PM, not expecting severe at this time. Storm Team 8 will have all of the necessary updates as we head into the evening online and on the News. We will get some much needed rain though tonight. Below is the outlook from the SPC.
