Vehicle that struck motorcyclist sought by Meriden Police

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Meriden Police are looking for the vehicle and driver that struck and seriously injured a motorcyclist this weekend and then fled the scene.

Police say a motorcycle being driven by Anthony Wilson was traveling west on North Avenue around 9:20 p.m. on Sunday when it was struck by a car that may have pulled out of a parking space. Wilson is in critical condition at Hartford Hospital.

Police say they are looking for a dark colored Mazda 3 with a missing taillight assembly and either a broken rear window or broken window on the driver’s side. The vehicle should also have dents and marks on the driver’s side.
