Boaters rescued from vessel sinking off Westbrook

WESTBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) — Rescue crews saved three people who were on a boat off the coast of Westbrook when it sank just before 3:30 Friday afternoon.

According to the Old Saybrook Fire Department, Tow Boat US pulled two people from the water, and the Clinton Fire Department recued the third. They say all three people are okay.

It is not known what caused the boat to go under.
