Police nab man for stealing leaf blowers last year

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Glastonbury Police have arrested a man that State Police picked up in Hartford on I-91 Tuesday who was held on an active warrant on Burglary and Larceny thefts.

State Police transported Louis Fiore to Glastonbury Police Department for processing. His charges stem from an investigation into the theft of four backpack leaf blowers from a landscaping contractor’s trailer in Nov 2014. In addition to Burglary/Larceny warrant, police also found that Fiore has three Failure to Appear warrants, from Glastonbury, Manchester, and West Hartford. The Failure to Appear warrants stem from Fiore failing to appear on Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Larceny charges.

Fiore was processed on the four warrants and held for court appearance on Wednesday.
