Yamaha 192 boat stolen in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) – South Windsor police are trying to track down a thief who swiped a boat out of a parking lot.  It happened overnight Monday night at a marine store on Kimberly Drive.  Police say they have surveillance video that shows a dark colored SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a yellow front plate, back up and hook up a trailer loaded with a Yamaha AR192 boat.  The boat was on a Shore Lander trailer.  Police say a man was driving and took off with the boat.  The boat and trailer are worth about $31,000.

If you have a tip or know where that boat is, call Officer Dave Gesualdi at (860) 644-2551 or email david.gesualdi@southwindsor.org .
