Florida man killed in Connecticut motorcycle accident

BROOKFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – A Florida man was killed Sunday when his motorcycle went off the road and struck a utility pole in Brookfield.

Brookfield Police say 55 year old William Clark Jr. of Tavernier, Florida lost control of his motorcycle around 6:15 p.m. and crashed on Route 25 approximately 100 yards south of West Whisconier Road. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy will be performed at the Chief State Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident, and have not already talked to police, to call them at 203-775-2575.
