348th recruit class of police officers graduate

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — The Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POST) graduated 44 new police officers Tuesday at a graduation ceremony in New Britain.

The ceremonies were held at 6 pm at Central Connecticut State University. The new officers are graduates of the 348th recruit class, which represents 25 municipal police departments, Yale University Police departments, and the Connecticut Encon Police.

The class roster consists of recruits representing police departments in Berlin, Bloomfield, Danbury, Darien, East Hartford, Farmington, Glastonbury, Granby, Greenwich, Guilford, Manchester, Meriden, Middletown, Montville, North Haven, Norwich, Plainville, Southington, Stamford, Torrington, Wallingford, Waterbury, Wilton, Winchester, Windsor, Yale University, and the Connecticut Encon Police.
