BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Clergy leaders from across Bridgeport will meet the Mayor and Police Chief Wednesday night to discuss community safety and police response issues.
More than 200 clergy members will be on hand to represent some 15,000 people from New Haven and Fairfield Counties. Organizers say tonight’s meeting is about bringing the people’s concerns to the Mayor and Chief, and opening a conversation about how improvements can be made.
The meeting is open to the general public. If you would like to attend, the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. at Bethel AME Church on Grove Street.
