Local bars busy for NBA Finals

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Basketball fans made their way out to local hangouts Tuesday night for Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Folks at Eli’s in Hamden were locked in.

“I came out for Game 6 to watch Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors win a championship tonight,” said Chris Blakeslee.

“I would like to see LeBron win to fulfill his legacy as the greatest player alive today,” said Rory Tremaine.

“Anything can happen in Game 7, anything can happen, so I like our chances,” said Hugh Bullock. “Hopefully Steph is cold, and see what happens, but if he’s on, it’s gonna be tough.”

Whether you’re a Warriors fan, Cavs fan, or just love the hype, this year’s NBA Finals has broken records for one of the most watched finals series ever.
