Worker who fell into Long Island Sound has died

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials say the construction worker who fell into Long Island Sound on Tuesday morning has died.

William Klemenz, 63, died at the hospital Tuesday night. Officials say there’s nothing suspicious about his fall, and they think a medical emergency caused it.

Klemenz was working on the Magellan Terminal harbor project when the incident happened.

OSHA is still investigating this incident.
