Newington man charged with more robberies

NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) –  A Newington man has been arrested for committing three additional armed robberies at stores in town.

59 year old Michael Kozak has been charged with 3 counts of robbery 1st, 2 counts of conspiracy to commit robbery 1st, Larceny 3rd, conspiracy to commit larceny 3rd, larceny 4th, larceny 6th, and conspiracy to commit larceny 4th.

Newington Police say Kozak held up Walmart on January 21st, the Family Dollar Store on February 7th, and Target on February 8th.

According to Police Kozak was already in jail after being arrested for robbing Target on February 12th, the second time he robbed that store.  An investigation determined Kozak was also responsible for the three other robberies.
