Police Donate Bikes

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) – The Middletown police department is partnering with several organizations to provide bikes for a bike rodeo.  The Vice President of the Connecticut National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives asked the department to partner with them, Waterbury police and the Kiwanis Club of Waterbury to provide the bikes.  Right now, the Middletown police department donates all unclaimed bikes to “Bikes for Kids”.  With their help, Middletown police donated twenty bikes for the rodeo.  Four of the bikes were brand new and the rest were gently used.
