Everyday MVP: Zoe Burgard!

(WTNH)– Frontier Communications and News8 have been recognizing the great kids in CT who show great Mind, Values, and Promise.  Zoe Burgard may only be in the third grade but her leadership skills and passion for the environment have already made CT a better place.

Last week, she led a group of fellow students from New Haven’s Cold Spring School for a cleanup of Long Wharf Park.

Even though it’s a tough job, Zoe along with her teacher, area environmental groups and city officials were able to coordinate a large scale effort to beautify one of New Haven’s most visible stretches of beach.

They were able to clean up a large portion of the beach. Zoe was so passionate about the cause she even began logging the different types of trash they collected—all 18 bags of them.

If you know an Everyday MVP like Zoe, nominate them today!
